MEN JOCKSTRAPS
Men's jockstraps and jockstraps are underwear originally designed to better protect the male parts. More recently, jockstraps have become a popular alternative to briefs and boxers. However, for many men, jockstraps are the primary underwear and are worn most often. Jockstraps usually consist of a waistband with a pocket and two elastic bands that run under the butt. There are also different models available with more or less straps, as well as different pocket options and materials.
Did you know: according to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word "jockstrap" was first used in the early 20th century? It is believed that this word was coined by combining the words "jock", which is a slang term for a sportsman, and "strap", which is the term for a belt. The first record of the use of the word "jockstrap" in the Oxford English Dictionary comes from a 1918 edition of "Pearson's Magazine". However, it is possible that the word was in use before it became widespread enough to enter the dictionary.
